THE shocking discovery that the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu was sidelined in the NOUN/Law School stakeholders meeting held on October 29, 2019 at the Federal Ministry of Justice is to say the least, suspicious. Not even a notice was sent to his ministry which is in charge of education in the country for representation. The meeting had reportedly in attendance the chairman, Council of Legal Education, Chief Emeka Ngige, SAN, Director-General, Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, SAN, and Vice Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN, Prof Adamu Uba Abdalla who was accompanied by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Prof. Justus Sokefun and others while the Minister of Justice/Attorney General of the Federation, Abubarka Mallami, SAN, presided.
